Sinopsis:
Thomas Schaeffer has got together with his ex-wife again, and come to realize that all-consuming absorption in his work precludes a happy family life. Much to Katrine Ries Jensen’s chagrin, he resigns from the police in order to take up his former post at the University.
But as his final day approaches, a violent case from his past crops up. As a young psychologist, he held back from sending a patient who was manically drawing the details of a tragic road traffic accident over and over again to a secure hospital . When these bloody scenes resurface, enacted as real killings, Thomas is compelled to pursue the case to the end of the line. And it unfolds in a far more violent way than he could possibly have imagined.
